Wan 3 Prime is live on Skiprr

Alibaba's Wan 3.0 comes in two tiers. Prime is the higher one: a text to video model for shots that begin as a sentence, with coherent motion and lighting at up to 1080p. It is in the model picker on every Skiprr video production today.

Wan 3.0 is the new generation of Alibaba's video model, and it arrived as a pair. Wan 3 is the everyday tier and has its own announcement. Wan 3 Prime is the premium one. Describe a scene in plain language and it returns a clip at 480p, 720p or 1080p, with sound.

A golden retriever runs through fallen autumn leaves in a city park, the camera tracking alongside at the dog's height. Low warm afternoon sun through the trees, leaves kicked up behind it, shallow depth of field.

Where it is strong

The clip above is the kind of shot that gives video models trouble. An animal at a run has four legs to keep track of, the ground is covered in small objects that have to react, and the background is a row of trees that must stay the same trees from one frame to the next. Prime holds all of it, and the light stays low and warm from start to finish.

It rewards description. Scene, lighting, camera movement and action, written as sentences, do far more than a list of adjectives. Short prompts are expanded for you before generation, and a negative prompt is there for the things you do not want in the frame.

What to be straight about

Prime is text to video only. It does not animate an image, so it is not the model for a shot that has to open on your product photo or on a frame you have already approved. That is what Wan 3 is for, and we have set Skiprr up so that Prime is never handed a starting frame it would ignore.

Alibaba's own notes are frank about the rest, and they match what we would tell you. Text inside the video is unreliable. Scenes with several characters interacting in specific ways can come out inconsistent. Longer clips can drift. One subject doing one thing is where it is at its best, which describes most of the shots in a good ad.

It also costs close to three times what Wan 3 does per second at the same resolution. That is the honest reason there are two tiers. Use Prime for the shots that carry the piece.

How to run it in Skiprr

Pick Wan 3 Prime in the model picker on a video production and work in text mode. Choose a resolution, and drop to 480p while you are still finding the shot, because each step up doubles the credits. Seedance 2.5 stays preselected as the default. Your brand brain still runs the show, so voice and guardrails carry into every generation.
