GPT Image 2.5 Flare is live on Skiprr

Flare is the fast tier of OpenAI's new image series, made for the everyday work that comes in volume: social posts, menu boards, product cards, the fortieth variation of a layout. It is in the model picker on every Skiprr image production today.

GPT Image 2.5 arrived as two models. Sunburst is the one for careful edits and has its own announcement. Flare is the other half: OpenAI's fastest model for high quality everyday generation. It takes the same prompts and the same reference images, and it is the one to use when the job is forty posts rather than one hero shot.

Most of what an agency makes in a week is not a hero shot. It is this Friday's promotion, the new opening hours, a quote card, a product in three colours. Those images need to be right, on brand and readable, and they need to exist by this afternoon.

Words that come out as written

Everyday marketing images are mostly type. A headline, a price, a date. Flare sets the copy you give it, in the hierarchy you describe, and it is accurate down to the small print.

A square social post for a neighbourhood coffee roaster. A kraft paper coffee bag stands on a pale oak counter beside a small pour-over cone, morning light. Across the top in bold condensed sans-serif capitals, dark green on cream: "NEW ROAST, FRIDAY". Beneath it in small type: "Morning Shift / washed Ethiopian / 250 g". The bag label reads "MORNING SHIFT". Clean editorial layout, generous margins.

Nobody asked for the illustration on the bag, or for the tasting notes under it. The model filled the label the way a designer would, and what it added is spelled correctly. The headline and the subline are exactly the strings in the prompt.

A vertical menu board for a small bakery, chalk white lettering on a deep green painted wall, photographed straight on. Title: "TODAY". Three lines beneath: "Sourdough loaf 7", "Cardamom bun 4", "Oat flat white 4.5". A small hand-drawn wheat sheaf at the bottom. Warm shop light, slight texture in the paint.

Quality is a dial, and the dial is the budget

Both images above were made at medium quality, which is two steps below the setting Skiprr starts you on. Flare has six settings from low to max, and the credits track them closely: low costs a small fraction of high. For a feed post viewed on a phone, medium is usually where the returns flatten. Draft on low, publish on medium or high, and keep the top two settings for work that will be seen large.

How to run it in Skiprr

Pick GPT Image 2.5 Flare in the model picker on an image production. Put any text you want in the image inside double quotes and say how it should be set. Attach a reference to edit it, or several to combine a product, a setting and a style. Ask for up to ten variations in one go when you want options to choose between.

When a single image has to survive a close look, or one detail has to change while the rest holds still, switch to Sunburst. Your brand brain runs either way, so references, voice and guardrails carry into every generation.
