Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash is live on Skiprr

Google's multimodal video model generates and edits video with the sound already in it. Start from a sentence, an image, two frames or a clip you want changed, draft at 360p for a third of the cost, and finish at up to 4K. It is in the model picker on every Skiprr video production today.

Google released Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash on August 27, calling it a production ready update with more control over generative video. It is now in the Skiprr video model picker. No keys, no separate Google account, and billed in the same credits as everything else in your workspace.

Fish swimming, tracking shot / A little chipmunk darting out of the woods from the left side of the screen and sniffing the air inquisitively before darting out of frame on the right side / Cinematic macro close-up of vibrant golden-orange Japanese maple leaves on a delicate branch, gently rustling and swaying in a soft, rhythmic autumn breeze. Sunlight filters through the translucent foliage, creating a warm, glowing effect. Shallow depth of field, dreamy bokeh background, hyper-detailed textures, photorealistic, 4k.

Omni is a different kind of model from the Veo line that came before it. It takes text, images, audio and video in together and reasons over all of them, which is why it can do things a plain text to video model cannot: hold a start and an end frame and work out the move between them, or take a finished clip and change one thing in it.

Two frames and the move between them

Give Omni the first frame and the last, and it generates one continuous shot that connects them. That turns a transition from something you hope for into something you specify. Camera orbits, zooms through a screen, a whip pan from one subject to another, a clip that loops cleanly.

A close-up low-angle shot of a stylish drummer in a beige suit playing a red drum kit in a grand hall transitions as the camera whip-pans to the side, revealing an older saxophonist playing alongside a ballet dancer spinning in a white outfit under soft purple stage lights. One continuous shot, no jump cuts.

In Skiprr every scene is built on a composed keyframe, so this is the way the studio already works. The keyframe carries your product and your brand into the shot, and Omni animates from it.

Draft small, finish large

Omni renders at four sizes: 360p, 720p, 1080p and 4K. The smallest is there for a reason. Google put the 360p draft at a third of the cost of 720p and up to 60 percent faster, and the idea is to spend it on the rounds where you are still finding the shot.

prompt

A microscopic view of iridescent marine diatoms, displaying intricate, glass-like silica shells with breathtaking natural symmetry. The colors range from deep volcanic amber and warm copper to vibrant turquoise and violet, mimicking the rich palette of earth and ocean. Tiny, delicate structures glow softly against a clean dark field background. High-fidelity scientific imaging, sharp details, organic textures, micro-photography. Maintain the microscope lens effect throughout the entire video.

The sound is part of the clip

Every Omni video comes with a synchronized track: dialogue, effects and ambience generated with the picture. Describe what the scene should sound like and put spoken lines in double quotes. There is no separate box for what to leave out, so say it in the prompt. No dialogue, no music. The model reads that directly.

Editing a video you already have

Attach an existing clip and describe the change. Omni applies it and preserves the rest, which works best when you say what must stay: make the sky stormy, keep everything else the same. It is the closest thing video has to asking for a small revision.

What to know before you use it

Clips run from four to ten seconds. Omni has no length setting of its own. It takes the length from the prompt, so Skiprr writes each scene's planned length into what it sends, and we checked that the model returns what it is asked for. Ten seconds is the most a single clip will run, and you are charged for the length that actually comes back.

It renders 16:9 and 9:16 only, so a square production needs a different model. Reference images and a start frame are separate ways of working and cannot be combined in one scene. Google's scene extension, which chains clips into longer stories, is not part of what is available in Skiprr yet. And every clip carries SynthID, Google's invisible watermark for AI generated video.

How to run it in Skiprr

Pick Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash in the model picker on a video production. Write the scene in sentences: subject, action, camera, light, and what it should sound like. Ask for one continuous shot when you want an unbroken take. Start at 360p, and when the shot is right, render it again at 1080p or 4K. Seedance 2.5 stays preselected as the default, and your brand brain runs the show either way, so references, voice and guardrails carry into every generation.
